best tools? 0.7mm graphite mechanical pencil (papermate are light so easy to work with after periods of inactivity, my zebra mechanical for when I'm used to drawing), and plain 500 lb computer paper. Traditional rag is wonderful for charcoal or pastels!
Reflection.

As I sit and reflect on another term of medical school gone by, I am reminded of my love of simple things. A blank sheet of paper and a pencil in my hand with a wealth of musical inspiration to overcome any amount of artist's block the world over.
Why then, have I not drawn more? PS'd more? Created more deviations? Or expand on those that I feel, need it?
Time.
There are simply not enough hours in the day to do all the things I want to do. And some of the things I need to do for my own sanity (not to mention the sanity of others). It is the one thing we all wish we had more of and the one thing that we all lose, no matter how hard the grip
